Iresha Choudhary is a first-year Political Philosophy and Policy major with an interest in film and law from Richmond, Virginia. She joined this festival because she loves filmmaking and wanted to get involved as much as possible. In the past, she has had experiences directing, assistant directing, and producing films like Blinded, Two Sides of the Same Cards, and She Likes Her Coffee Black, which comments on the normalized aspects of racism in everyday life. She is honored to have had three of her screenplays produced and filmed. Last summer, she was able to attend Northwestern’s summer film program with a concentration in screenwriting. She loves writing and filming thrillers and half-serious mysteries.
